People always ask about the warehouse, so here's the full tour.
Our facility is located in Petersfield, Hampshire. A rural area surrounded by farmland. From the outside, it's a classic green metal warehouse with a big roller shutter door. But inside, it's 6,000 square feet of organised chaos.
The Loading Bay
When deliveries arrive (sometimes a full articulated lorry), we use our Hyster forklift to unload pallets. On a big delivery day, we might receive 20-30 pallets at once. Each pallet gets logged, numbered and photographed before processing.
The Sorting Area
This is where the magic happens. Pallets get opened and every item is individually assessed. We grade items from A (like new) to D (parts/repair only). Each item gets cleaned, tested if electronic, photographed and listed on the appropriate platform.
The Storage Shelving
We have industrial racking running along both sides of the warehouse. Items are organised by category and size. This makes picking orders efficient when sales come in.
The Packing Station
The packing area has everything needed for professional dispatch. Boxes in every size, bubble wrap, tape, labels and a thermal label printer. Speed matters here because the faster we dispatch, the better our seller ratings.
The Content Corner
Yes, we have a dedicated area for filming. Most of our content is filmed right here in the warehouse though. The whole place is our studio. The Union Jack flag you see in the background of many videos? That's hung right in the centre of the warehouse.
The warehouse costs us rent, business rates, insurance and utilities. It's not cheap, but the space is essential when you're dealing with the volume we handle. My advice? Don't rush into a warehouse. Scale up gradually. Garage, small unit, then warehouse.
